I love going on Instagram and checking out the beautiful tablescapes women make for Shavuos. The lush flowers, vibrant and elegant colors, and upscale coordinating table settings are incredible to look at. I usually check out ideas and try to put care and attention into making a tablescape that I am proud of.

The problem I run into is that my creation never quite matches up to the level of the posts I see on Instagram. Thinking it over, I decided that this year I would not look at the posts. My table will be my own creation with my own ideas and no comparing with others. The thought of staying away from Instagram posts gives me a sense of inner calm and confidence. Go me!
